About the Book
The sea spits them onto a distant shore where there’s more than meets the ears. Pergi and her companions rally in the swelter and danger of Elolle to fulfill their quest. They follow scant clues, straining to pick up any lingering traces that might lead them to the lost Stone Wangu. But the land that had once thrived under Lady Rhinna and the music of her Far Stone now strays to strange tunes.
Chance seems to have thrown them in the path of a caravan and its helpful leader. As they trek with them across grasslands and desert, Pergi learns of a mysterious Key that may lead them to the disappeared Lady and Stone. But knowledge comes shrouded in riddles. Already blistering under an inscrutable prophecy, Pergi deplores more cryptic lore. She also fears that enemies lurk in the shadows or behind the smile of false friends. Every step could be a trap and each new ally a menace.
Then shocking revelations rock the group.
