My book launch party on Sunday could not have been more perfect. I borrow the words of one of my guest as she thanked the hostess:

Everything was so elegant and beautiful like it was from a storybook. I love how your hors d’oeuvres were all labeled so carefully. Such attention to detail. Sitting in the shade of the trees with a gentle breeze, the soothing melodies of the flute in the background, the vibrant flowers gracing each table and the quiet conversations… I felt like I was transplanted back in time to the 1800s to the countryside in England.  It was like a scene from one of Jane Austen’s novels but with such diversity represented among the guests.  Bibliophiles all there in support of our brilliant author friend and you the gracious and effortlessly beautiful hostess.

In the confluence of beautiful weather, wonderful reunion with friends, delicious food, masterful music, and loving support, my heart is staggered by gratitude. I am blessed beyond measure.

Wam. What a delight to e-meet you. I am so proud of what you have done and are accomplishing. I’m afraid I’ve gotten derailed regarding the launch team, my apologies. I’m looking forward to ordering your book and trying out the world of fantasy. I’m writing a narrative non-fiction book, currently at a hybrid publisher. Blessings- Debbie

Debbie, no need to apologize. I’m happy to have you on-board, and I appreciate all your support and interest. One of the best things about this journey is all the wonderful people I’m meeting.
